Stitch Modern 2013

Saturday night I went to the opening of Stitch Modern 2013. Put on by the East Bay Modern Quilt Guild, this annual show presents the quilts made by those in the guild, and is quite a showcase of talent and exploration.  The quilt above, made by Daniel Rouse, is on display, as well as many more. I have been following Dan online, watching the development of this piece, it was wonderful to see it in person. It's quite large!
