This morning Jessie and I bundled up Marcel in Karen's Valentine's Day quilt for a little photo shoot.
Here's the deceptively simple and cheery front of the quilt. The fabric, from Robert Kaufman's Love Collection, is pre-printed with one-yard panels of the word "LOVE." Since it's actually one piece, this is an excellent project for beginners, or quilters who want something quick and fun. If you've always wanted to try quilting, February could be your month. We've got Intro to Quilting starting the 21st, and for students of all levels, our Improvisational Basketweave Class starting the 24th.
Marcel would like everyone to take note of the ostriches on the back.
