Stitch Exchange: Introducing Tin Roof

This just in:
A stunning pattern from NellKnits.
I had to pick the defining characteristic of Nell’s patterns, I would
say “stitch definition.” Nell uses stitch motifs, some traditional, some
avant garde, in fresh, unconventional ways. The results are striking.
Nell has already designed some gorgeous garments in our favorite yarns,
like Picardi, in Shepherd’s Wool Worsted, or TILT, using just one skein
of Jade Sapphire Cashmere.
This time, Nell’s put her special touch on some of our very own Pioneer.
Roof has a little something for everyone. The garter stitch pleats are
quick and fun, but offer enough interest that even experienced knitters
won’t be bored. And the end result is simple, wearable, but beautifully
textured. Destined to be a wardrobe staple, Tin Roof is the perfect
basic scarf, something you’ll grab on your way out the door, day after
day (especially in the Bay!).
