Our new brick and mortar shop is turning One Year! And a year it has been!

Tea with Clara
To start off the week, Clara Parkes, famous author, fiber researcher, caramel maker, and a person of great wit and humor, is coming to the shop.
She has authored The Book of Yarn, The Book of Wool, and The Book of Socks. Clara also is the creator and lead moderator is Knitter’s Review. Clara will give a short talk and sign books.

Explore Little Red in the City with Ysolda
Ysolda, the creative mastermind behind Whimsical Little Knits, and person of amazing style, is returning to the shop, with her newest book, Little Red in the City.
She will teach the class Explore Little Red in the City with Ysolda. In this fun workshop we’ll go through everything you need to successfully make perfectly fitted sweaters. We’ll cover matching the right yarn to your pattern, how to get the most out of swatching, and taking accurate measurements. This is a great chance to discuss the techniques and information in Little Red in the City and ask questions about shaping for your body. Samples of all of the sweaters will be available to try on in 3 (very different sizes) and Ysolda can give advice on which size to knit and any adaptations to make to suit your body and style.
