Kristine Vejar - Owner, Teacher, and Natural Dyer for A Verb for Keeping Warm
Kristine
has a deep love and appreciation for natural fibers, natural dyes, and
textile traditions. From learning to sew and knit from her Grandmother
as a child, to re-discovering her love for textiles while attending
school in India, Kristine’s study of textiles and the processes used to
create them, has been a path throughout her life. Kristine has received
numerous accolades for her work, including a Fulbright Grant to India,
and has consulted with the Textile Museum in Washington DC. She started
Verb as a way to combine her work in India with her life in the U.S.
