Kristine traveled to Indonesia to study natural dyeing. She spent a week in the jungle with a women's co-operative who create naturally dyed batiks. She picked up these handmade tools on her journey. You can create your own batik fabrics using these tools or they could simply be displayed on your mantle as a piece of art.

The stamps called cap (tjap) in Indonesia are made of copper. They can be used to apply hot wax to fabric.

The stamps measurements (approximately) are as follows:
Diamonds 6.75 x 6.75"
Dahlias 7.5 x 6"
Iris 6.5 x 6"
Blooming Flower 10.5 x 6"
Leaves 9 x 4"

The canting tool is used to hand-draw designs onto fabric.

The wax is a blend of beeswax, paraffin, and resin. It is sold in 1/4 pound increments.

All tools are made in Indonesia.
