Genoa Shawl by

Paula Pereira // featuring AVFKW Gather yarn

Featured in Making Gifts Vol. 2, Genoa by Paula Pereira is a color-block modular triangular shawl knit out of AVFKW Gather. It is a relaxing knitting project, where you can play with infinite color combos and interesting construction. For the sample piece Paula chose Fleur, a light petal pink (color B), Red Pear, a medium wine color (color A), and Fig, a dark burgundy (color C) -- all tones of the same color, highlighting each section of the shawl. These colors are created using quebracho red wood, madder root, and logwood and dyed in our Oakland studio.
