Bojagi Wrapping Cloths: The Art of Korean Stitching by Youngmin Lee

Working with a variety of fabrics and stitching techniques, Youngmin Lee explores Bojagi - Korean wrapping cloths - which have been an important part of the culture and tradition of Korean people for ages. Three Bojagi projects - Patchwork Bojagi (jogakbo), Gift Wrap Bojagi (Yemulbo), and Covering Bojagi (Sangbo) are presented in this 2 hour DVD. Youngmin Lee demonstrates the basic stitches, fabrics, and techniques needed to make your own beautiful Bojagi.

Youngmin Lee is a Korean textile artist living the San Francisco Bay area. With a BA in Clothing and Textiles, and an MA in Fashion Design, Youngmin has presented numerous workshops, classes, and demonstrations on Korean Textile Arts including workshops at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum, Pacific International Quilt Festival, and A Verb for Keeping Warm.
