The Creamsicle Bunting Bundle by Kristine Vejar, co-owner of AVFKW // featuring naturally-dyed fabric and twill tape

For this issue of Making, Kristine created a bunting project, full of spring colors and simple joy. Kristine says: Add a strand of peachy-orange bunting to your next outdoor soiree . . . and instantly feel happier. This project is great for all—a wonderful, straightforward project for those who want to play with fabric and color.

You can sew your bunting on a sewing machine or with a hand sewing needle. This is an easy project for a new sewist or to work on with your family. Then decorate your garden, patio, or favorite room with a little springtime flair!

We have created bundles using the same materials Kristine used in her project, approximately 13 different fabrics and twill tape, all naturally dyed in our Oakland studio with a variety of plants, including madder, weld, rhubarb, walnut, and cutch.

Each bundle will make one strand approximately 4⅔ yd long; if you would like to make more than one strand please purchase additional bundles.

Finished measurements:
Approximately 4⅔ yd [4.3 m] long by 5½" [14 cm] wide

Bundle contents:
- Naturally dyed cotton, linen, and silk fabric, naturally dyed
5 yd [4.6 m] of 1" [2.5 cm] wide twill tape, naturally dyed
