Artist and textile designer Naomi Ito creates whimsical paintings that are then applied through various methods and layers of screen printing and dyeing upon cloth. Her fabrics are treasures. And even the smallest amount can bring joy to any sewing or embroidery project. Her company name is Nani-Iro. All fabrics are made in Japan.

Naomi's designs are mainly found upon soft double gauze fabric. Which is made of two layers of fine cotton gauze, and woven together every so often, effectively creating a single lovely, lightweight cloth.

These scrappy bundles consist of 9 pieces of Nani-Iro fabrics cut into squares and rectangles. They are mainly double gauze, but may also include linen, sheer gauze, and or lightweight canvas. The pieces range in size from approximately 3x3" to 6x6".

There are four styles of bundles to choose from. This is a fun way to have a lot of different Nani-Iro fabrics on hand so you can get just the right shade, color, and texture when making.

Use them to:
Add a bit of whimsical color and texture to a quilt
Mend a favorite lightweight dress or shirt
Create a sachet
Give as a gift

They look lovely with Verb's naturally-dyed embroidery floss!
