The Sweetheart Fabric Bundle is a collection of some of our very favorite fabrics. We created it in celebration of love and care of ourselves and each other. Gather a group of friends and make together. One bundle makes quite a few little items!
Use it to:
+ Make fabric valentines - the recipient can use it as a bookmark or a little wall-hanging. A sweet memento of your love.
+ Create a little fabric envelope to house a love letter or painting.
+ Do a stitching meditation - simply take a fabric that is calling to you, thread your needle, take a few stitches and breathe. Focus on your heart.
+ Mend your favorite piece of clothing. Holes happen in our most beloved garments. Spend some time thinking about your favorite memories when wearing this clothing.

When working with fabric, thread, and fiber dyed with indigo, it is common and natural for the blue dye to rub off on one’s hands while sewing. This is called crocking. Although the goods have been washed, it takes pressured contact to release the extra indigo dye. Your handwork is part of the indigo dyeing process. The blue dye can be removed with hot water and soap. From working closely with indigo dyed materials through the making process, typically, the excess dye has been removed, and the crocking will cease.
