Worsted – A Knitwear Collection Curated by Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée is a knitwear collection featuring 14 patterns by 10 incredible designers. Each designer has their own unique style, and the designs speak to many kinds of knitters. They have come together to form a beautifully cohesive collection.

Included in the 160 page volume are garments such as sweaters and cardigans, graded from 30" to 65" bust circumference, and accessories, like shawls and hats, with techniques ranging from stripes and stranded colorwork to cables and textured stitch patterns.

The book features designs by the following designers: Nadia Crétin-Léchenne, Stephen West, Sylvia Watts-Cherry, Andrea Mowry, Tif Neilan, Saysha Greene, Norah Gaughan, Maxim Cyr, Nancy Marchant and Thien-Kieu Lam. With Worsted, Aimée wanted to create a tangible way to connect with people through knitting and bring joy. During the challenges of the last 18 months, Aimée found comfort in immersing herself in creating a new yarn base, Corrie Worsted, and inspired by it, all of the designs in the book are worked in worsted weight yarn.

In Aimée’s own words: “I hope that you will welcome the adventure of casting on a new project from this book with perhaps some of that beloved yarn you have curated for your stash or why not go on a yarn escapade and mix Corrie Worsted with other yarns.”

Aimée Gille was born and raised in Kansas and later moved to France, where her passion for knitting was reignited. In Paris, where she now lives with her family, she first opened L’OisiveThé, a wonderful knitting café, and later La Bien Aimée, her yarn company.

Packages ship Tuesday through Saturday via USPS. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email and tracking number. Please use the tracking number provided and contact the shipping carrier directly with any questions about transit and delivery. 

Please select the insured option at checkout to ensure compensation for a lost package. Once the package has been picked up by the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We do not offer refunds or credits for lost or stolen packages.

If you select an insured option and need to file a claim with USPS, we will provide you with the documentation needed to complete your claim. Packages are insured for the order total. If your package is stolen, please contact your credit card company to receive any possible compensation.

International Orders
All international orders are shipped uninsured USPS First Class Parcel Post. We are not responsible for packages which are held in customs or lost. International orders may incur customs fees. We are not responsible for fees you may incur. International shipments can take two months to reach their destination. We caution against placing an order if you live outside the United States. At this time, we are unable to ship to the United Kingdom due to the complicated VAT situation. 

Curbside Pick-Up
To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.

You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 2-3 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name. 

Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
