Pack up one of these hand-knotted mesh bags for a day trip to the beach, forest, or park! Forage for dye plants, or maybe just for the perfect snack at the farmer's market. Carry your favorite book and some sunscreen on a walk. Or use it to keep a small knitting project close at hand. So many possibilities!

Handcrafted by Khmu artisans in Laos, these satchels are made from kudzu, a naturally occurring and sustainable jungle vine. The fiber is stripped from from the inner bark of the vine, and then it is dried, pounded, split into strips, and hand-twisted into yarn. The resulting knotted fabric is lightweight and durable.

We have dipped each bag multiple times into the indigo vat, to create a two-toned, layered blue, while leaving the top portion of the strap undyed to show off the natural fiber color. A truly special way to celebrate the magic of plants.

Each bag is made and dyed by hand, and no two bags are exactly alike.

Approximate dimensions:
+ Width: 11" - 13.5"
