Winter Windows Mitts by Beth Rosin // featuring AVFKW Flock yarn

Our friends at Making Zine have released their third holiday e-book: Making Winter Vol. 3 / Gifts, and Beth Rosin featured AVFKW Flock in her Winter Windows Mitts.

"The first flakes of winter fall soundlessly and slowly, without any effort at all. Steam rises from a mug. The morning is still. A knitter snuggles a little lower into their chair and considers the view through winter windows. Like the gently drifting flakes, their thoughts wander in and out of knitterly ponderings. This is the image I see when I think of the Winter Windows mitts—whether the knitter is wearing them, casting them on, or considering which yarn would make the perfect pair for a special gift. It is my hope that this pattern brings the knitter a sense of calm, solace, and maybe even healing." writes Beth Rosin.

Flock is a lightweight yarn made from American wool and milled in Vermont. It is made of a single strand of yarn giving it a rustic, handspun feel. That said, the wool used in Flock is soft! It really is the best of both worlds.

If you have yet to try, Flock, this new pattern by Beth Rosin is the perfect starting point. To see more colors of Flock, click here.
