New Verb Yarn & Fiber

Kristine's been at the dye pots in preparation for SOAR, Interweave's Spin-Off Autumn Retreat! We've seen some beautiful skeins of yarn and lovely luscious fiber go out to the shelves this week.

We have Floating, in Thai Iced Tea:

as well as Indigo Blue Sky:

Floating is wonderfully soft yarn that knits into a beautiful fabric with excellent drape. One skein is perfect for many Stephen West shawls, including Pogona and Blue Whale, and two skeins makes a soft and light Sabine, by Cocoknits.

We have several other colors of Floating available in sweater quantities. Click here to see what is available online!

One of my favorite colors that Kristine has been dyeing lately is Hemlock. We have several skeins of Reliquary II available in that color, as well as many other purple tones. Here is the Hemlock:

Two or three skeins of Reliquary II makes Cocoknits ingenious Veronika. A single skein is used in Cookie A's recent pattern for our Pro-Verbial Club, Munch, which will be available to the public in six months. At 875 yards, Reliquary II is excellent for intricate, lacy shawls as well.

In the fiber department, I'm excited to announce the return of two things the store hasn't seen lately: Targhee fiber and the colorway Royale!

The Targhee in Royale is the center bundle above, a dark, rich purple.

We also have Camel/Silk and Merino Silk available in Royale as well:

The shorter, fatter bundle on the left is Camel/Silk, with Merino Silk being the longer, thinner bundle on the right.

We don't have Royale listed as a colorway on our site for those fibers yet, so those are brick&mortar purchases only. We'll try to get them online soon!

If you're interested, I hope you come into the shop to take a look! Or keep an eye out for Kristine and Adrienne when they travel to Tahoe for SOAR.
