AVFKW x Cocoknits - Renee Sweater Kit

Renee Sweater by Cocoknits // featuring AVFKW Dawn yarn

Renee is a slouchy, oversized sweatshirt with exaggerated proportions. The armholes are extra-deep, the sleeve circumference starts out very large, and the body length is slightly cropped. The bottom edge is turned up and finished with a three-needle bind off on the right side, creating a casing for a drawstring cord.

Knit out of AVFKW Dawn, a blend of 75% California organic Merino and 25% US organic cotton, is easy to wear in temperate weather. We have put together a collection of kit colors below, featuring Lighthouse (the sample color), as well as other natural colors of Dawn and two indigo dyed shades.

Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book:
This pattern uses a modified Cocoknits Method, with the shoulder join dropped to the back. The sleeves, however, are picked up and knitted down from the armhole opening rather than as a seamless yoke. Although this pattern features the signature Cocoknits English tailoring with the front/back join pushed to the back, Renee does not require the Cocoknits Worksheet. The Cocoknits Sweater Workshop book is recommended but not required.

This kit includes:
+  8-16 skeins of A Verb for Keeping Warm yarn (see sizing info above)

This kit does NOT include the pattern. For a paper pattern, please click here. For a digital pattern, please visit Cocoknits. Thank you!
