Junko does it again! We were floored when Junko released her Papa sweater last Spring, Kristine immediately set out to knit her own version. Last Fall, Junko began hinting at a new design - one which uniquely combines carrying yarn across the front of the fabric in conjunction with knit colorwork. So intriguing! Kristine began test-knitting the Bouquet Sweater for Junko, and as she watched the pattern emerge as her needles clicked, she was mesmerized! This is absolutely unlike any fabric she has knit before. And she absolutely loves it. She is so excited to add this sweater to her handmade wardrobe.
ABOUT THE PATTERN: This sweater comes in one size. The main color requires 8 skeins. The contrasting color requires 2 skeins. Please purchase this pattern directly from Junko. This kit does NOT include the pattern.
March 2021 update: Junko used Quill as the main color, and Dried Hops as the contrasting color. Kristine made her version of Bouquet out of Quill and Indigo Blue Sky. We are sold out of Quill, and recommend Nest as a replacement. Nest is similar to Quill in that it is a marled color: one ply is made from dark brown wool and one from medium brown wool.

Please note: The yarn name listed first is the main color (8 skeins) and the yarn name listed second is the contrasting color (2 skeins). For example: Quill + Dried Hops. You will receive 8 skeins of Quill and 2 skeins of Dried Hops.
CROCKING
When working with yarn dyed with indigo and with medium to dark shades of natural dyes (especially on slick fibers like mohair), it is common and natural for the dye to rub off on one’s hands while making. This is called crocking. Although the goods have been washed, it takes pressured contact to release the extra dye. Your handwork is part of the dyeing process. The dye can be removed with hot water and soap. From working closely with dyed materials through the making process, typically, the excess dye has been removed, and the crocking will cease.

ALWAYS use pH-neutral soap when blocking and washing natural dyes.
Please note the fiber content of the material you are working with, and follow the applicable instructions:
Cotton or linen - Machine washable on cool cycle. Lay flat to dry.
Superwash Wool - Machine washable on cool cycle, though hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.
Wool and Wool blends - Handwash only in lukewarm water. Lay flat to dry.
Yarn that has been pre-ordered and / or purchased can be exchanged within 45 days from when we contact you to pick it up (for curbside pickup) or from the day that we ship it for store credit only (less any shipping costs) as long as it is in its original condition (ball band in place). After this time period, yarn can no longer be returned for store credit. We do not refund original or return shipping costs. Please read our full policy here.
Packages ship Tuesday through Saturday via USPS. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email and tracking number. Please use the tracking number provided and contact the shipping carrier directly with any questions about transit and delivery.
Please select the insured option at checkout to ensure compensation for a lost package. Once the package has been picked up by the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We do not offer refunds or credits for lost or stolen packages.
If you select an insured option and need to file a claim with USPS, we will provide you with the documentation needed to complete your claim. Packages are insured for the order total. If your package is stolen, please contact your credit card company to receive any possible compensation.

International Orders
All packages shipped outside of the U.S. are shipped using GlobalPost via USPS. We are not responsible for packages which are held in customs or lost. International orders may incur customs fees. We are not responsible for fees you may incur. We cannot mark packages as gifts or enter a lower value amount on customs forms. At this time, we are unable to ship to the United Kingdom due to the complicated VAT situation.
Curbside Pick-Up
To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.
You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 24 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
