Classes, Special Events, and Trunk Shows

At A Verb for Keeping Warm, our specialty is our natural dyeing studio and practice. Currently, our educational offerings are mainly focused upon this specialty. If you live out of the area, or are interested in learning this practice on your own, we have published two books on natural dyeing: The Modern Natural Dyer and Journeys in Natural Dyeing. Both books are brimming with thorough instructions. 

Sprinkled in are classes with other artists and textile creators who specialize in knitting and hand-stitching. 

We have two classrooms, one indoors and one outdoors nestled in the midst of our educational dye garden.
