Custom Verb Thread Holder

We've been testing out ways to be more organized in our making practice. Somehow throwing all of our floss and sashiko thread into a pile hasn't really been cutting it! I started using a weaving pick-up stick to hold my threads and have been really happy with the results! So I contacted our wood-working friend to make some for you! 

For my sashiko thread, I snip through the entire hank and then secure the threads over the Thread Holder using a slip knot. Whenever I need a new strand, I unwrap the hank from the holder. 

For my embroidery floss, I wrap the thread around the holder. And unwind a length whenever needed. 

In a pinch, the ends of the holder can be used to mark the fabric like a hera. (I still like using my hera primarily for drawing lines because it fits nicely in my hand.)

This holder also makes it easy to carry my threads with me. As often times, I take my meditational stitching projects to the park or when I travel. 

This Embroidery Thread Holder is made of U.S. cherry wood. Branded with Verb's wordmark, indicating only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade and will be unique.

Cotton or linen - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH-neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

Superwash Wool - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH-neutral soap, though hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.

Wool and Wool blends - Handwash only in lukewarm water with pH-neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.

You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 24 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name. 

Pre-orders Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
