HASAMI MAGNETIC PIN HOLDER
This durable, spool-shaped pin holder contains a strong magnet to store pins, needles, and paperclips neatly.
Fired at a low temperature by expert craftsmen, Hasami Magnetic Pin Holders boast a luster and texture reminiscent of ancient pottery. Each pin holder is finished with a colorful glaze to resemble a real spool of thread. Designed to be used with needles standing up, it is easier to insert and remove needles with one hand than conventional pin cushions, making operations even smoother.
Inside of the spool is lined with soft felt to protect pin and needles from damage by direct contact with the ceramic base. It is also recommended for needles such as cross-stitch needles with rounded tips that are difficult to insert into a fabric pin cushion.
The built-in magnet makes it convenient for picking up dropped pins and needles directly from your workstation. Cohana's Seki Mini Scissor can also be attached to the sides, making it popular as a set for small needlework projects. A smart and sophisticated way to organize your workspace or desk.
Hasami-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture, is home to many pottery studios. Hasami-ware, with a history of about 400 years, has been actively manufactured since the Edo period (1603-1868) and has been popular among many people as a popular type of pottery. Established in 1948, Ishimaru Tougei has an old pottery museum on the premises, where historical ceramics are on display.

OHAJIKI GLASS SEWING PINS
Bring a playful nature to your project when using these sewing pins topped with colorful glass beads. Each set comes in three different patterns of swirls, marbles, and flowers in soft colors. Ohajiki is a Japanese classic children's toy made from coin-shaped glass beads and is said to be carried as an amulet to keep up away evil spirits. The artisans at Plants Bead Works Tokyo designed these exquisite Ohajiki Sewing Pins to bring a childlike sense of wonder and joy to any sewing project. The set comes in three different patterns of swirls, marbles, and flowers in soft colors. Each needle is handmade and unique.
The durable steel-and-nickel needle of the pin is manufactured in Hiroshima, a city with a 300-year history of high-quality needle production. Rigorus quality control ensures that pins are of uniform thickness and pierce cloth with ease.

SEKI MINI SCISSORS
How small can the very best scissors be? This was the playful challenge of Mr. Hasegawa to his artisans at Hasegawa Cutlery, a manufacturer of edged tools in Seki, Japan's foremost cutlery-making town. The result: the adorable and remarkably sharp Seki Mini Scissors. They are a true labor of love from a company with a commitment to time-tested craftsmanship and inventive ideas.
You can cut with these scissors by gripping them with your fingers and pinching lightly. They will cut cleanly through thread, cloth, or other thin material with ease. Scissors come with a genuine leather case, made in Kyoto, for convenient portability. Once the scissors are complete, they travel to Tassel Studio MARIMO in Fukuoka Prefecture where each pair is adorned with a beautiful silk tassel.
The Seki Mini Scissors fit easily into a bag, pocket, or toolbox. Both practical and stylish, they're a great backup to shears in a pinch and make for an excellent gift.
