The LBA collection of worsted-weight Corriedale yarns are gorgeous and bloom beautifully when blocked; perfect for creating worsted-weight garments and accessories. All yarns listed on this page can be used interchangeably. They are the same thickness and are designed to be knit together or as substitutes for each other. All are 230m (250 yards) per 100g skein.
Corrie Worsted is a beautiful mix of white Falkland Corriedale and grey Gotland wool. This light-grey fiber mixed with the bright white merino gives Corrie Worsted a beautiful depth of color.
Wensley Worsted is made entirely of white fibers: 50% Falkland Corriedale, 25% Falkland Merino and 25% Wensleydale. The white base means that LBA can dye all their super bright colors on it and it is easier to see slight nuances in color on a single skein.
Wensleydale and Gotland are long, shiny fibers and will create a fabric that is well-wearing with incredible sheen.
Corrie Confetti shares all of the above characteristics and includes recycled fibers. (We always love a project that saves and celebrates scraps!) Each batch of Confetti is a limited edition yarn in terms of color. So grab it while you can, as there may not be more! RGO, which means Really great Orange, is a color inspired by the Iconic Orange Lady, Gaye Glasspie, the famous GG. Ochre is based upon the ever-popular, best-selling LBA color Yellow Brick Road. And the confetti in Nancy's Speckled Sweater actually uses scraps of yarn from iconic designer Nancy's Marchant's stash!
The new La Bien Aimée Confetti yarn is LBA's new take on their recycled yarn. Inspired by Aimee's travels to the Shetland islands, a brand new yarn made in a brand new mix of wool content that is soft and buttery. Like its predecessor Corrie Confetti, Confetti is a one of a kind limited edition yarn made from upcycled hand dyed yarn threads from the La Bien Aimée studio in Paris. It is spun with a super soft custom dyed mix of 18.5 micron fine Merino and Shetland wool. It is tweedy, plump and soft enough to be worn next to your skin.

La Bien Aimée (LBA) yarns are absolute heaven to knit and to wear. Each skein is a jewel. The nuance in colors have to be seen with your own eyes to be believed. LBA was founded by Aimée Gille. All yarns are handdyed in Paris, France.
Please note the fiber content of the yarn you are working with, and follow the applicable instructions:
Cotton or linen - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.
Superwash Wool - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap, though hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.
Wool and Wool blends - Handwash only in lukewarm water with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.
Yarn that has been pre-ordered and / or purchased can be exchanged
within 45 days from when we contact you to pick it up (for curbside pickup) or from the day that we ship it for store credit only (less any shipping costs) as long as it is in its original condition (ball band in place). Packages ship Tuesday through Saturday via USPS. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email and tracking number. Please use the tracking number provided and contact the shipping carrier directly with any questions about transit and delivery.

International Orders
All international orders are shipped uninsured USPS First Class Parcel Post. We are not responsible for packages which are held in customs or lost. International orders may incur customs fees. We are not responsible for fees you may incur. International shipments can take two months to reach their destination. We caution against placing an order if you live outside the United States. At this time, we are unable to ship to the United Kingdom due to the complicated VAT situation.
Curbside Pick-Up
To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.
You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 2-3 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
