This 100% silk scarf has been hand-dyed with the fresh leaves of our homegrown indigo.

~~~
Every year, we desire to offer a special gift that requires no work on your part! Imagine that! So this past Summer, when we were dyeing with our freshly harvested indigo, we dyed a few silk scarves and saved them for a Winter Holiday treat.
Freshly harvested indigo imparts this incredible turquoise blue-green color - using the leaves as soon as they are harvested this is the only way to get this extra special shade of indigo.
The scarf is whisper-light, smooth, and silky soft. Fold it in half, wrap it gently around your neck, and secure with a knot for a chic accessory.
Use it to wrap a gift for someone special. Use the book Furoshiki and the Japanese Art of Gift Wrapping for inspiration and instruction.
Tie your hair up! Or cover your hair while you are sleeping.
This is a lovely way to carry the Summer sun with you throughout the year.
Content: 100% silk habotai
