These pincushions with polka-dot fabric were developed by craftsmen in the downtown Tokyo area where they are handmade from scratch. It comes with a snug cover so that pins and sewing needles with thread attached can be put away neatly and safely. When sewing, the cover can be used as a container to keep small buttons and notions secure as well as a little receptacle to keep snips of thread and fabric. Surely you will want to carry it everywhere!

Incredibly lightweight. The shiny, reflective surface has a slightly brushed texture. Though one may want to try and keep these pristine, fingerprints and use encouraged by the craftspeople - who firmly believe that the use adds character to these gorgeous boxes. Notes on care
Enjoy this product's original "feel" because it has not been treated with any harsh chemicals. Natural skin oils protect against stains and add luster and depth to the container's surface, and handling the container with bare hands adds to its appearance. After cleaning, wipe off moisture with a dry cloth and dry well in air.
