Celebrate Verb's 15th anniversary with our special colorway, Candied Apple!

Candied Apple is a blend of warm copper that slowly lingers into a rich, delicious deep red. This color evokes Fall leaves, the harvest of apples, and all the wonderful dishes you can make with apples.

This colorway is available on three delectable yarns:

Frond (459 yards / 50g): A radiant beam of halo and glow, due to its content of 64% kid mohair and 36% silk. This is wonderful held along with another yarn or knit into a beautiful cloud on its own.

Floating (437 yards / 100g): Made of 70% Alpaca + 20% Silk +10% Cashmere, this is o
ur softest yarn. You can use it to create a single skein scarf or shawl. Or combine it with another yarn, to create an even larger piece, such as Swoop Shawl by Romi Hill!

Rumor - (438 yards / 100g): A yarn that we bring out for special occasions like today! Rumor is constructed from a single ply and has an irresistible shine due to its fiber content of 70% Merino and 30% silk.

We used one skein of Floating in Candied Apple to knit a Winterview Scarf by Cecelia Campochiaro.

This pattern is ideal for variegated colorways, such as Candied Apple, due to how those knit and purl stitches move throughout the pattern throughout the triangular shape. This version of the scarf resembles the beautiful warm, hues of reds and browns of autumn leaves. And in the Bay Area, our Winter leaves, like the maples and their beautiful vibrant colors set against the foggy hillsides.
