Nirvana is one of two new colorways created to celebrate the 2026 Bay Area Yarn Crawl! It is first dyed with logwood purple, and then overdyed with indigo resulting in a color that is blue with purple undertones reminiscent of cornflower blue. This color fo blue reminds us of our late Winter / early Spring sky. Click here to see the other 2026 Crawl color: Fairy Ring

To destress and rejuvenate, Adrienne and I often head for the hills in the Winter and are treated to gorgeous vignettes of trees, mushroom, lichen, and leaves dappled with light and a touch of fog. The dogs love it too! We can spend hours, sometimes only going a few feet at a time, as we pass from one mushroom microcosm to the next. Included are photos highlighting some of the textures and color combinations seen on our hikes.

This colorway is available on three yarn bases:

Floating - 70% Alpaca + 20% Silk +10% Cashmere = Our softest yarn, with 437 yards / 100g, you can use it to create a single skein scarf or shawl. Or combine it with another yarn, to create an even larger piece, such as Swoop Shawl by Romi Hill!

Frond (50g / 459 yards), a radiant beam of halo and glow, due to its content of 64% kid mohair and 36% silk. This is wonderful held along with another yarn or knit into a beautiful cloud on its own.

Nibble - 100% California Fine Wool, 223 yards / 50g - If you are a Verb connoisseur, you may be thinking, "Nibble, what is that?" It's new! We've been keeping this ultra special yarn in our pocket for just the right moment! It is a fingering weight yarn, made of wool grown in Santa Barbara, where the sheep's sole purpose is to help with wildfire suppression.
