AVFKW x Spincycle x Andrea Mowry - The Shift Cowl Bundle

Knit the ever-popular Shift cowl using our custom Spincycle color, Small Wonder, and a gorgeous sapphire, indigo-dyed skein of Flock. The slip stitch pattern is easy to knit, and the dance of the yarns, as they shift in color from one row the next, makes this project one you won't want to put down.

Spincycle Dyed in the Wool, the ever popular, vibrant, slowly color-shifting yarn is dyed and milled by Kate, Rachel, and Team Spincycle just north of here in Washington. As you knit these yarns together, due to the unique dyeing style of Spincycle, you will truly have a one of-a-kind cowl. 

We hand-dip each skein of indigo-dyed yarn in our Oakland studio. Can you believe that stunning, deep blue color comes from a plant?! Flock is made of US wool. Spun in Vermont, the mill every so often adds a wisp of natural grey wool to the white core, creating a self-striping yarn. Oasis is a brand new colorway featuring 5 shades of indigo. This combination of yarn and color are the perfect complement to Spincycle's shifting colorful yarn.

2 skeins of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool (200 yds/50g), Small Wonder
1 skein of A Verb for Keeping Warm Flock (290 yds/50g), Oasis Marble

Please note the skeins of Spincycle shown in the photos are an approximation of the colors you will receive. Due to their dyeing and spinning process, each skein is truly unique. We have done our best to choose photos that we feel are representative of our current stock. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Spincycle's gorgeous yarn.

Please note the fiber content of the yarn you are working with, and follow the applicable instructions: 

Cotton or linen - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

Superwash Wool - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap, though hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.

Wool and Wool blends - Handwash only in lukewarm water with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

Yarn that has been pre-ordered and / or purchased can be exchanged within 45 days from when we contact you to pick it up (for curbside pickup) or from the day that we ship it for store credit only (less any shipping costs) as long as it is in its original condition (ball band in place). After this time period, yarn can no longer be returned for store credit. We do not refund original or return shipping costs. Please read our full policy here.

Curbside Pick-Up
To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.

You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 24 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name. 

Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
