Knit How is the classic learn-to-knit book, stocked by more independent yarn stores than any other beginner book. Now, straight from the needles of Pom Pom, comes a fresh edition of this all-time favorite, with all-new photography, a bright new design, two new patterns, and a companion YouTube video channel.

Like the OG, the new Knit How is friendly and easy to use. It now includes 18 knitting patterns, along with step-by-step techniques (illustrated with beginners in mind), plus tips to keep you on the path to success.

Packed with tutorials and advice, Knit How guides you from those first shaky stitches to knitting a host of cute projects. Pick and choose among simple scarves and cowls, hats and fingerless mitts to knit up fast, and easy socks and sweaters to stitch and show off.

Pattern and Yarn Highlight
Our sister brand Bread & Butter is featured in two patterns in the updated Knit How!

The Adrienne bandana is a simple triangular bandana in two-color garter stripes. Choose one skein each of any two colors of Everyday. Sample shown in Yarn A: Ballpoint (blue); 1 skein Yarn B: Jade Cove (pale green); 1 skein

The Kristine bandana is a riff on the same triangular bandana, knit with a decorative edging. Only one skein of Everyday in any color is needed. Sample shown in Ballpoint (blue).

Both patterns call for US 8 / 5 mm needles and stitch markers.

Made of super soft U.S. Merino wool, Bread & Butter Yarn Everyday is a soft worsted-weight yarn ready to be made into your favorite cozy hats, mitts, scarves, and sweaters. It is worsted weight (16 sts / 4") making it easy to knit for everyone from beginners to advanced knitter, crocheters, and weavers. Like its thicker sibling, Bun, it is dyed and spun in the U.S. Round and bouncy, it picks up stitch definition beautifully so a great choice when knitting cables, brioche, and ribbed stitch patterns.
