Today's dream sweater is Andie by Cocoknits, knit out of Verb's Soft Current yarn.

Soft Current is made of 74% Baby Suri Alpaca and 26% Silk. It is soft and fluffy. The kind of yarn you just want to pet. And luckily, we are knitters. So not only do we get to wear such divine materials, we get the luxury of knitting Soft Current into the sweaters of our dreams.

Cocoknits describes Andie as: "Everything you love about a classic pullover but with plenty of added personality. Dramatic drop shoulders, full sleeves, and an oversized fit make this a super comfy sweater. It features little cable increases along the back shoulder which is constructed using the Cocoknits Method and finished with 2×2 ribbing. Top-down and seamless, this pattern is a pretty straightforward knit, but the results are anything but ordinary."

As you know, my style is pretty basic. I am a t-shirt and jeans type of person. I am very active and need my clothes to support that. However, I want those basic garments to be handmade out of the highest quality, natural materials. (Oh. And I want to look cute.) So Andie knit out of Soft Current is the perfect combination.

Two more notable things about Andie x Soft Current:

1. This version of Andie is light as a feather. Soft Current has an incredible halo so it can be knit in place of heavier yarn, which is exactly how this version of Andie is knit. So when wearing this version of Andie, you will feel warm, but not hot or bogged down by a heavy sweater. This is the perfect layering piece.

2. Andie requires only a few skeins of Soft Current. Andie comes in 7 sizes ranging from 36-64" and requires 4-7 skeins of yarn.

Knit this sweater and yarn combo - it is a good one.
