Along with our retired 2024 Summer Solstice colorway, Jubilant, let's revisit its accompanying pattern: the Essitam Scarf by Cecelia Campochiaro.

Essitam is a reversible scarf made with subtle ribbing chevrons and two yarns. The sample is worked in Rumor in the colorways Jubilant and Wisteria. Jubilant is in soft greens and oranges, while Wisteria is a delicate lavender, so together they comprise the three secondary colors. The combination makes a soft, harmonious, and cheerful mix. The stitch pattern is straightforward, rhythmic, and meditative.
Essitam as shown is a long and skinny scarf, perfect for many different stylings, but you can easily make it a into a wider scarf or glorious big shawl—the shawl version requires double the yarn.
