La Bien Aimée x Joji Locatelli - Fading Point Shawl Bundle

Inspired by La Bien Aimée's gorgeous dyeing and her love of large rectangular shawls, Joji Locatelli created the ever-popular Fading Point shawl. Through gentle transitions from one color to the next, each skein fades into the next. Panels of lace are sprinkled throughout the shawl, giving the piece movement, and adding to its beauty.

Fading Point is constructed from both ends towards the center, and then both pieces are connected with triangles to achieve a seamless rectangle. Joji recommends that the darkest skein is color 1 and the lightest skein is color 5. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

We are offering three colorways, the Original used by Joji (the piece she is modelling), Bay (featuring our custom LBA color, Day by the Bay), and Headlands.

La Bien Aimée Merino Singles are a soft single-ply superwash merino with a beautiful twist. This yarn takes color beautifully and has a crisp stitch definition. La Bien Aimée (LBA) yarns are absolute heaven to knit and to wear. Each skein is a jewel. The nuance in colors have to be seen with your own eyes to be believed. LBA was founded by Aimée Gille. All yarns are handdyed in Paris, France. Such a treat to offer these yarns to you!

Please note the fiber content of the yarn you are working with, and follow the applicable instructions: 

Cotton or linen - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

Superwash Wool - Machine washable on cool cycle with pH neutral soap, though hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.

Wool and Wool blends - Handwash only in lukewarm water with pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry.

Yarn that has been pre-ordered and / or purchased can be exchanged within 45 days from when we contact you to pick it up (for curbside pickup) or from the day that we ship it for store credit only (less any shipping costs) as long as it is in its original condition (ball band in place). Curbside Pick-Up
To pick up your order at our shop, when checking out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.

You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 24 hours. To pick up your order, come to the shop between 11am - 3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name. 

Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship on the date listed on the product’s webpage. If you ordered additional items, all items will be shipped with your pre-order. If you would like those items shipped separately, please place two separate orders.
