Jeanette has been a knitwear designer for over 20 years and has written or contributed to many fibre publications including Vogue Knitting, The Knitter, Knitting and Making Stories. She writes a regular column for Laine and have contributed several patterns to their magazine as well as their books, 52 Weeks of Accessories and 52 Weeks of Shawls.
Her latest book, Beaded Colourwork: A Modern Approach To Knitting With Beads was published in 2026, by Laine Publishing.

Lindsey has been designing knitwear patterns since 2017. A self-taught knitter, she is always learning, picking up new techniques, and finding something new to be curious about. She has self-published numerous knitting patterns, contributed designs to a variety of publications, and is the author of two knitting books.
Her favorite things to knit are shawls and socks, even though sweaters and socks are what she most loves to wear.
When she’s not knitting, Lindsey enjoys reading, listening to music from her extensive physical media collection, and playing cozy games. She lives in northeast Ohio with her husband, their twins, and Stephen, a one-eared ginger cat.
With kids who love space travel and aeronautics, family trips tend to revolve around air and space museums, air shows, and sheep and wool events.

Serena's patterns are made for hand-knitters who want to make clothes that are gender-playful, color curious, and that love on their bodies.
Knitting shares brainspace with stories from Asian diasporas, East Asian garment design, their training in art history, and the work of folks who play & slay with their fashion. They design with natural materials from people of color, womxn, queer maker communities.
Serena wants their patterns to function like templates for you to experiment with your own sense of color & pattern. Or leave you with some customization techniques that you can take to your future projects. Or inspire you to make variations and changes based on its single silhouette. They hope their patterns give you a sense of ownership of your knitting and skills.
Ozuko is a tribute to their yarn inspectors, Ozu (cat) and Kopiko (also cat). As you read this, they are chomping & chasing & napping on & staring at their yarn.

Maaike van Geijn is a Dutch knitwear designer and workshop teacher based in Schoorl, a small coastal village in the Netherlands surrounded by sea, dunes, and forest. She grew up between the United States and Haarlem, studied fashion and theater costume design, and earned a Master's degree in Theater Studies.
Maaike's love of colour is expressed in her work, in which colour and motifs play together. Her intention is to translate traditional knitting techniques in a contemporary way. While she strives for a certain elegance in her designs, she also wants her work to be playful in both form and colour. Above all, Maaike wants her designs to offer a pleasant knitting experience, allowing knitters to truly enjoy the process.
Maaike's work has been published worldwide in books and magazines – including Laine Magazine, Amirisu, John Arbon Textiles, Kate Davies, Erika Knight, and La Bien Aimée. She is also a sought-after workshop teacher, giving workshops in yarn shops and at festivals throughout Europe.
