Leaves and Flowers is a California based tea company offering a unique selection of handcrafted botanical infusions and premium small batch teas. Once we tasted their teas, there was no turning back - they taste absolutely divine -- each and every one.

Anna and Emily, the founders of Leaves and Flowers, utilize locally grown botanicals to create their infusions, in hopes of offering a botanical experience that honors the beauty and lore of the plants. Inspiration comes from the plants themselves – the mythology of their medicine, their potent leaves, delicate flowers, and the intoxicating aroma and flavor they release when infused. Leaves and Flowers botanical infusions are produced by hand in small batches in their California workshop. Herbs are freshly procured from local farms, then sorted, dried and blended by hand. The climate controlled drying room is designed to preserve the plants at the peak of their vitality. Once the herbs have been dried, they are stripped from the stem and stored away from light and air to maintain their impeccable vibrancy. When blending, herbal ingredients are kept as whole and intact as possible.

Leaves and Flowers Camellia sinensis teas are sourced from around the world and chosen for their impeccable quality and flavor. Like the herbal drying and blending methods, much of Camellia sinensis harvesting and processing is carried out by hand. Buds and leaves are hand-picked, then skillfully oxidized, pan­‐fired, rolled or fermented to achieve the desired result. All of Leaves and Flowers botanical infusions and teas are loose leaf, and sustainably grown and harvested.  

At its conception, Leaves and Flowers established a close community of local farms who provide us with exceptional herbs for our herbal infusions. Our accompanying tea collection is sourced similarly to our herbal ingredients, with an ever-changing selection procured from small tea farms in regions of China, Japan and Africa. These farms have been implementing sustainable farming practices for generations, and provide us with teas of extraordinary quality and flavor. We feel fortunate to collaborate with farmers who live in such close relationship with the land.

The farms they work with apply sustainable farming practices. No chemicals or pesticides are used in the cultivation of their herbs or teas.

Leaves and Flowers joined forces with vegetarian cookbook author Heidi Swanson to bring you this exclusive wellness blend. Together they formulated a tea to support the changing of the season and safeguard your immune system. 22-24 servings per package.

Genmaicha, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan Flavor Notes: Rich, Toasted, Pecan

A traditional and popular Japanese tea blend composed of high grade Sencha and roasted brown rice hulls. The Sencha is a first flush harvest from Kirishima, and the organic brown rice comes from Hokkaido. Genmaicha is one of our favorite breakfast teas, and equally delicious hot or iced. 18-20 servings per package.

Earl Grey, Fujian Province, China Flavor Notes: Rich, Smooth, Citrus

To create the handcrafted version of this classic blend, Leaves & Flowers infused a special black tea from Fujian Province, China with wild harvested Sicilian Bergamot. Dried Bergamot peel accents the rich dark leaves and makes this infusion ever more fragrant. 18-20 servings per package.
