We are always looking for fabric that has a bit of texture - so that when placed alongside fabrics with a smooth texture, such as Kona quilting cotton, there is a bit of tension, adding interest and depth to one's quilts or garments. The texture of Manchester is created by weaving threads of various weights. When naturally dyed, due to the natural undulations of the weave, the fabric will reflect the light at different angles, creating beautiful nuances and depth.

Manchester is a lightweight fabric and lends itself nicely to a wide variety of projects: shirts, dresses, home-wares such as quilts, pillow covers, duvet covers, and napkins.

To pick-up your order at our shop, when checking-out, under shipping method, choose Pick up at our Oakland store - 6328 San Pablo Ave.

You will receive an email when your order is ready. Orders placed Tuesday-Saturday are typically ready within 2-3 hours. To pick-up your order, come to the shop between 11am-3pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Knock on the front door and give us your name.
